Minimalistic graphic design for a professional look

At Cateringkunst, an Allgaeu-based catering company, private and business customers get tempting creations made from the best regional ingredients—prepared with internationally inspired refinement and excellent craftsmanship. Whether for private occasions such as anniversaries and weddings, for company parties or as a trade fair chef for events, Bernhard Munding knows how to inspire with true catering art.

Individual, refined catering with a modern and clear line: Marc Brugger Design was asked to capture and communicate this concept visually in the corporate design as well as in the logo and signet development. In addition, the concept and design for the portfolio and the website were also part of the project. Since the catering company serves very different customers with offers ranging from business lunches to wedding celebrations, a clear structure and maximum clarity of the corporate website and all marketing materials were absolutely essential.

Together with the clearest possible website structure and an appealing, clean design language of the marketing materials, the purist design decisions were particularly important for the signet design. A straightforward design looks professional and serious, which emphasizes Bernhard Munding’s working method and attracts his customer target group in particular. In order to emphasize the Cateringkunst founder’s family tradition in gastronomy, I designed the signet in a reduced, almost stylized emblem form. The initials create an immediate bridge to the logo.
